Skills Group is looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Site Coordinator to join our Trades Training team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based at our Christchurch campus, you'll also provide operational support to our Nelson campus, playing a key role in ensuring both sites deliver an outstanding experience for learners, tutors, employers, and visitors.
This is a varied role where you'll coordinate day-to-day campus operations, provide exceptional administrative support, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and help create a welcoming, well-organised environment where training can thrive.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Christchurch campus while supporting our Nelson campus
Provide exceptional customer service to learners, tutors, employers, and visitors via phone, email, and in person
Coordinate class scheduling, learner records, attendance, assessments, and course administration
Manage campus facilities, resources, suppliers, and operational logistics to support effective training delivery
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless learner experience
Resolve operational issues proactively while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
What you'll bring:
Experience in administration, site coordination, or office operations within a busy environment
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for helping people
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems calmly and efficiently
Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems such as LMS or student management platforms
