Business Trainer – Leadership and Business Administration

As a Business Trainer, you’ll deliver high-quality, practical training across our leadership and business administration programmes. You’ll help adult learners build capability they can apply directly in their workplaces, while providing the guidance, feedback and support they need to succeed.
This is a hybrid role, 12 month fixed-term contract, with four days working remotely and one day per week delivering training from our Wiri campus.
What you'll be doing:
Deliver engaging online training using practical, workplace-based scenarios.
Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Provide academic guidance and support throughout each learner’s programme.
Support learner engagement, onboarding and pastoral needs, including learners identified as at risk.
Monitor learner progress and provide monthly reporting on engagement and achievement.
Keep your leadership and business administration knowledge current and contribute to programme improvement.
What you'll bring:
Workplace experience in leadership or business administration.
A relevant qualification at least one level higher than Level 4 (i.e. Level 5 or above).
Unit Standard 4098 or Unit Standard 30421, willingness to obtain these with Skills Group’s support, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills in standards-based assessment.
Credit for the standards you will assess against, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills.
A qualification in adult education and training / currently working towards one, a teaching qualification, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills.
A commitment to ongoing professional development relevant to your assessment scope, along with confidence facilitating adult learners and strong communication and organisational skills.
